Which program to choose to search for coins?

Everything seems obvious: to search for coins, select the "Coins" search program. But there are also nuances. If your metal detector has two or three search programs, one of which is designed for coins, then there is not much choice. But if you have such a universal device as the XP Deus II, you can go the other way.

From my personal search experience, the XP Deus II metal detector made a strong impression on me, especially in terms of sensitivity. Over the weekend, I took it to test it and the result exceeded all expectations. I was especially pleased with the 3rd and 4th programs (Feelings, PF and Fast), where the sensitivity is just off the charts.

This, of course, is a plus, but also a minus - I had to dig out a bunch of small things from the ground, which, to be honest, was a little tired. However, if you are ready for a large volume of different finds, then this is a great choice. And, in general, it is not for nothing that the Deus II is called a vacuum cleaner for scales.

The first "Deus" has coins perfectly searched for even by such a program as "Gold". Especially small ones. The same is true for XP ORX. He needs to choose one of the Gold programs - P1 or P2, then set the recovery rate to 2.5 - this is a good starting point and then the IAR Filter to 5. All. You can search without being distracted by iron.

Other models of metal detectors have their own settings. But that's a completely different story.
